Depending on configuration and specifications, the production process takes approximately 5 to 7 weeks.

  • Do I still have to go to the recording studio if I have a Vocal Booth?

    If you set up and use your SOLID Vocal Booth correctly, the result is comparable to that of a paid recording studio. You can equip and acoustically design your SOLID Vocal Booth with numerous available equipment. Our FLEXY Booth vocal booth is sound-dampening and enables dry and clear sound recordings that can fulfill any purpose with their quality. Also make sure you have a good microphone, because in addition to your Vocal Booth in the home studio, this has a not inconsiderable influence on the result of your sound recordings and the sound quality.

  • Why is there reverberation on my non-voice booth recordings?

    Sound propagates according to clearly defined physical laws. From the sound source – such as your voice – sound waves spread spherically in all directions. When these waves encounter solid surfaces such as walls, ceilings, windows, or furniture, they are reflected, scattered, or altered in their frequency structure.


    These reflected sound components return to the sound source with a time delay and are captured again by the microphone. They no longer represent the original direct signal, but rather distorted reflections with altered timing, phase, and frequency distribution. The result is unwanted echoes, reverberation, and comb filtering effects that overlap and color the original recording signal.


    Without a controlled acoustic environment, the microphone therefore captures not only your voice, but the entire room. The sound loses clarity, presence, and definition – especially in small or untreated spaces.


    Our vocal booths are specifically engineered to solve exactly this problem. Through the targeted use of acoustically effective materials, multi-layer wall constructions, and controlled absorption surfaces, reflections are significantly reduced and a dry, clean direct signal is achieved. Sound is absorbed at its point of origin – before it can interact with the room.

  • Are there mics that need a vocal booth more than others?

    In order to get quality sound recordings, we recommend performing each recording in a Vocal Booth. There are microphones that, due to their nature, are less sensitive to reverberation and background noise: dynamic microphones. But even with dynamic microphones you will notice that without a sound-optimized and absorbing room, a vocal booth, you will not achieve the same quality results as with (music) recording in a professional Vocal Booth.
