Your SOLID Booth will be manufactured just for you. The manufacturing takes between 5 and 7 weeks. Between 6 and 8 weeks after your configuration and order was done by you, your individualized SOLID arrives at its new home. We inform you about the exact delivery date.

    Our finished Vocal Booths are planned and constructed by audio engineers to ensure that there are no (relevant) sound leaks and that signal sound waves can be picked up cleanly and extensively by the microphone. Planning and building a DIY Vocal Booth requires a lot of time, know-how and craftsmanship. The choice of materials must be carefully considered: Many materials only absorb sound waves in high frequency ranges. In addition, the material costs often compete with the prices of our Vocal Booths, because the basic structure (frame and soundproof wall) is not enough: acoustic elements bring the finishing touches. We offer you these at reasonable prices as additional equipment to our SOLID Vocal Booth. Do you primarily need dry sound recordings without reverb and not a whole recording studio? Then our mobile Vocal Booth FLEXY is just right for you! We stand by the quality of our Vocal Booths. If you are not satisfied with the sound results, you can simply return your portable Vocal Booth.

  • Do I still have to go to the recording studio if I have a Vocal Booth?

    If you set up and use your SOLID Vocal Booth correctly, the result is comparable to that of a paid recording studio. You can equip and acoustically design your SOLID Vocal Booth with numerous available equipment. Our FLEXY Booth vocal booth is sound-dampening and enables dry and clear sound recordings that can fulfill any purpose with their quality. Also make sure you have a good microphone, because in addition to your Vocal Booth in the home studio, this has a not inconsiderable influence on the result of your sound recordings and the sound quality.

  • Why is there reverberation on my non-voice booth recordings?

    Sound waves behave according to given laws of nature. They spread out spherically from the source. When the waves hit solid materials around them, they repel and are deflected. They change direction. Depending on the nature, design and degree of hardness of the obstacle, the direction and vibration of the sound wave is manipulated. These manipulated sound waves (the reflections), whose form and frequency no longer correspond to the original, now hit your microphone again, with a time delay, and are recorded by it. The result is a contamination of your sound: you have "echoes" and "reverb" next to the signal source in your recording track. Our Vocal Booths are made from special materials and are designed to prevent or reduce the reflection of sound waves and largely absorb them.

  • Are there mics that need a vocal booth more than others?

    In order to get quality sound recordings, we recommend performing each recording in a Vocal Booth. There are microphones that, due to their nature, are less sensitive to reverberation and background noise: dynamic microphones. But even with dynamic microphones you will notice that without a sound-optimized and absorbing room, a vocal booth, you will not achieve the same quality results as with (music) recording in a professional Vocal Booth.
